The motto I have been rapidly spreading for Girl Hack is:
Life isn't about finding yourself, It's about creating yourself.
No one seems to do this in more grace than Alison Mosshart. She is one of my fashion icons and idols, and has been a great influence on my own fashion choices, with the animal print phase and I even went out of my way to purchase a leather jacket that most resembled hers from one of her video clips. Over the last couple of years I have been closely following her authority on fashion in the indie - rock - punk scene. From tattered jeans and leather jackets to mini skirts, thigh high boots and a poncho, there seems to be no end to her creativity, and very much recognized for it.

The Kills released a new album Blood Pressures at the beginning of this year.
There are some great articles dedicated to her fashion style, letting you know how to replicate her style and even where to purchase it from.
So as you can see, Alison Mosshart is kinda a big deal in my world. I just love how she can re-invent herself and her style is so much fun. I plan to have a few more "about-face" articles in regards to celebrity styles and influence, inspiring women and much more. And hopefully inspire others to be just as creative as the people featured and give them ideas on creating themselves!
