New Layout! and Colour Blocking

Hey everyone, hope you all like the new layout. I thought it was about time to spunk up the blog just a tad. Play around with the feel. There will be a ton more adds and changes to come and this site is always under construction and continually growing like I am. If you want to know what these changes are, I will either make an official post on the blog or you can follow these updates on our face book page - Feel free to communicate with me and others on there too!

Recently out my studio window I noticed a lot of girls doing the colour blocking trend. I thought there were already a ton of good articles on it so I'm just keeping this brief.

Colour blocking has been around for the last couple of months, but I think growing more and more popular day by day as I have been seeing more advertising for chain retailers, magazines. I guess that's also because we are just coming into spring season for fashion.

So what is colour blocking you ask? Well.. Basically the idea is to mix match contrasting and sometimes clashing solid (block of) colours. The current phase of this trend seems to be bright reds and oranges.

But if you don't think that those kind of bright colours are for you, tone it down with some tans. I have been using this method, and its easy to pick up the colours at the moment as the previous season sales are on. And those styles were in that colour scheme.

Anyways its a real cheap and easy style. I'm sure most of us already have a few items of clothing that are of solid one colour already in our closests right?

Here are some interesting links on colour blocking and how to pull off the trend!
